Today Mataio and Maybella went to visit Elizabeth and Michael's new apartment. It is very nice and new. We wish her luck and we will miss her very very very much =(. We will definitely go swimming there.

Maybella is walking @ 10 months and 6 days old....
Today, March 13, 2010, Maybella started walking. She was pulling her self up by 8 1/2 months, walking with holding one of our hands by 9 months, she took a few steps from one object to another and now she is walking 5 and more steps with no help at 10 months. She is really amazing....We were in her room and I was preparing her diaper bag to go to Jeff's place, and she was at the window behind the rocking chair playing with a flower that fell from her curtains and then I was like "Maybella what are you doing?" She got up by pulling her self straight up with the table next to the rocking chair and while I was looking down, from the corner of my eyes I could see her come close to me and she was walking with no help...No help!! SHE WAS WALKING!! She is growing way too fast!!! I wasn't able to record her first steps....=(

Mataio's Lego Birthday Party!!
Mataio turned 6 years old on February 27, 2010. Everyone came to celebrate this
wonderful occasion!!! Mataio has grown so much this year. His vocabulary has grown, he's grown a few inches, he wears size 13 shoes, and size 6 shirt and pants
now. He is only in kindergarten but is at a first grade level helping his peers read
and do numbers. Since he joined Kumon his reading skills have excelled. We are very proud of the big boy.

Maybella at 9 months!!!!
Maybella has learned a lot this month and has grown so much.
She can dance, sing, clap her hands, stomp her feet, blow kisses, wave bye bye and hello, feed her self, say da da all the time, babbles all the time, walks a total of 5 steps, pull her self up to stand, climb the stairs, raises her hands up when you tell her to, points her finger to things she wants, smiles at the camera when you say "cheese" and is very playfull. She loves twinkle twinkle little star, itsey bitsey spider, head shoulders knees and toes, if your happy and you know it clap your hands, and I have two hands ... are her favorite songs. She also has four teeth, two on top and two on bottom.
Maybella is 8 months!!!!
She has really learned a lot this month. She babbles all the time and says Da Da Da alot. She dances to every beat she hears and sometimes dances the Laos way by twisting her hand around. She can still wave bye bye when she feels like it. She can walk with holding one of my hands. She is walking all around the couch and crawling straight towards the stairs every chance she gets. At 8 months and 3 weeks she took 3 steps on her own and didn't even realize she was not holding anything. From time to time she will dare herself and stand on her own. For the most part she'd rather crawl and she is zooming from one please to another. She puts everything in her mouth. She is still in love with ribbons and tags. It taste delicious to her. She understands when I tell her "NO" and "ah uh" and she will stop but then do it again. If I say "No no no" a few more times she gives up and goes on to the next thing she can put in her mouth.
Her first tooth came right at her 8th month. She can pick up bread crumbs and lil snacks and put it in her mouth very well. She can drink 8 oz of milk!! She absolutely loves it when I make rice soup!!! If she really likes what she's eating she will do a lil dance and shake her head for you. She also loves it when her daddy sings to her. She will sit and gaze at her daddy.

She has learned and grown so much this month. She can crawl and pull herself to stand up. She can support herself with the coach and tries to walk from one end to the other. She can wave and give high fives. She giggles, babbles and claps her hands. She shakes and sways her body to dance. She loves hugs and kisses. She also celebrated her first christmas!!!!
